Clean morning tide pushes are the best windows, while afternoons bring manageable onshores. By the weekend, overlapping long-period SSW swells bring more punch, with Sunday looking strongest as the swell peaks and holds into Monday.

Best Bet ✅ Wednesday morning (Aug 27)—SSW swell peaks with head-high+ surf at far North County standouts, light winds, and a clean tide push.

Worst Bet ❌ Swell shows less in middle North County Solana/Encinitas area.

South County Report 🌊 

Best Bet ✅ Could see a nice pulse build in on Sunday.

Worst Bet ❌ Early in the week for South County (Aug 24–25)—small surf and lack of structure leave southern breaks underpowered and inconsistent.
