Swell Summary 🌊 San Diego sees a smaller start to the week as both SSW and WNW swells ease, offering mostly thigh-to-waist-high surf with a few corners before tides shut things down. A new mid-period WNW pulse peaks on Friday for the most consistent waist-chest-high surf, before easing again into Saturday. Morning conditions stay generally clean all week with light winds and more texture in the afternoons.

Best Bet ✅ Friday morning — the fresh WNW swell peaks with clean conditions, making structured breaks and reefs the most reliable call.

Worst Bet ❌ Late Monday morning — the rising tide quickly kills the already-small surf, leaving very limited opportunities until the afternoon drain-out.

Weekly Wave Recommendations 🎯 

For later in the week, check out a South reef break like Hospitals or Windansea.

Early week, you could try to pluck corners at a beach break like Georges.
