A fun fact about Rob Machado, a pro surfer from San Diego, is that he was inducted into the Surfers' Hall of Fame in 2000, despite being known as one of the best free surfers rather than a full-time competitor. His smooth, laid-back style and environmental activism have made him one of the most beloved figures in surfing. Plus, he still surfs his home breaks in Encinitas regularly! 🌊🏄‍♂️
