Swell Summary 🌊 The week starts off modest with waist- to chest-high surf from a fading SSW/NW swell combo and light onshores. Things heat up Thursday (July 3) as a fresh SSW swell builds, peaking on the 4th of July and holding strong through the weekend, delivering chest to head-high waves at standout North County breaks. Expect clean morning conditions most days, especially Friday and Saturday, with long-period swell magnets lighting up as another SSW pulse fills in Sunday. Happy 4th 🇺🇸

North County Report 🌊 

Best Bet ✅ Friday afternoon (July 4)—SSW swell peaks with clean shape and head-high sets at summer-favorite breaks like Swami’s or Seaside Reef.

Worst Bet ❌ Monday morning (June 30)—small surf, light onshores, and a fading swell mix mean lackluster conditions at most spots.

South County Report 🌊 

Best Bet ✅ Similar to North County report. Size may even ratchet up a bit on Sunday (7/6) with a new shot of SSW swell.

Worst Bet ❌ Drinking too many beers on the 4th + not paddling out 🍻 🤣
